Waste and recycling Consultation update

Earlier this year, residents took part in the ‘Limiting landfill’ consultation about methods of reducing waste in Thurrock and the recycling options available in the borough. ngage was employed by Thurrock Council to deliver this public consultation which went out across the borough over a number of weeks and saw the highest response rate recorded in Thurrock for a consultation on waste and recycling.

The consultation has now been completed and the data sent to Thurrock Council. Part of the consultation has already proved fruitful, as from the results of your comments and opinions fed back to Thurrock Council, between now and 2010 they will  be replacing the blue boxes with blue recycling wheeled bins as well as an additional bin for garden and Kitchen waste.

We will keep you informed of any future developments.
